This year marks the 20th anniversary of the HMA, with a special gala dinner scheduled for Friday, 18 October 2024, at NEX Newcastle. The HMA continues to play a crucial role in promoting excellence and innovation in manufacturing across the Hunter region. The awards celebrate businesses that are forward-thinking, pushing the boundaries of productivity and technological advancements.
The Hunter region boasts one of the most skilled workforces in the country, known for breaking barriers in innovation and continuously striving for excellence. The HMA serves as a vital platform to inspire and encourage local enterprises to grow, recognising their contributions to the region’s dynamic manufacturing sector.
Judging Convenor Michael Murray highlighted Tomago Aluminium’s long-standing involvement in the HMA, dating back to 2006. He commended our ongoing commitment to improvement and adaptation in a rapidly evolving market. “As we celebrate this anniversary, we’re proud to showcase the incredible work being done in the region and look forward to even more success stories in the years to come,” said Murray.
The 20th Anniversary Gala Awards Night will bring together guest speakers, HMA judges, board members, and the 2024 finalists, creating an evening of celebration and recognition for the local manufacturing community.
