Last week, we had the pleasure of donating $14,000 to the Starlight Foundation at the John Hunter Hospital through our employee-led Workplace Giving Program. The Starlight Foundation is dedicated to providing hospital entertainment, games, and deliveries to hospitalised children, and we are delighted to support their wonderful cause.
Special thanks go to Sharleen Demal and Teina Bishop for nominating Starlight as the beneficiary for this donation.
Katie Burns presented the cheque to Hospital Program Manager, Heather McNann. Heather expressed her sincere gratitude to every single Tomago Aluminium employee who donates from their pay into the workplace giving program. “It is through their generosity that these funds will go towards bringing happiness to sick children by providing them with a place for fun and some much-needed relief from their treatments,” said Heather.
Accepting the cheque on behalf of all the sick kids was Michael, a volunteer from the Starlight Foundation, and “Captain Rainbow.”
